well, everyone's getting ready to leave for college at the end of this month, and to go expand their educational goals... or something to that effect.

i don't leave till the end of september, however, so i'll be alone for a month sitting in my room :[

oh well.

although i am excited for college. i'll be attending cal poly san luis obispo, just 3 hours away. i'll be living in a dorm with someone, they don't tell me who until august 25th.

i didn't get into all of the classes i wanted, since my registration cycle was last ( :[ )

i only have four classes. computer engineering orientation, fundamentals of computer science, japanese, and calculus.

i took ap calculus in my junior year of high schoo, but our class covered only the first semester. i wanted to re-take it anyways, since i particularly liked calculus (hey... dont make fun of me >.> although that could have just been because i had an awesome teacher (mr. leckie)

regardless, im somewhat happy that the other classes were full (english 143 and basic manufactoral engineering), since that would have made my schedule pretty hectic. i'm not sure how i'm going to do in college, and i figure that maybe a lower load my first year in will help me out. and personally, i'm not in any rush to get out. even though it may sound odd, me saying that before i've even been there, i have a feeling that i won't want to leave. i'd like to take my time, and have a great college experience, and come out fully confident in my abilities as a computer engineer (or whatever else i happen to be, if i change my mind)

well, just some thoughts. i'm also working on a nice little vector piece at the moment, since i haven't done anything in a while, and i've wanted to.

anyone else going to san luis obispo? ^^
